Data Requests

Most of the information ilyStream works with is kept by the app on your own PC, so you can delete it yourself, right away. This page explains how, and how to ask us about anything we hold.

Delete data in the app

Philips Hue pairing	Connect → Hardware → Philips Hue → Bridge → Forget, and Clear next to Device address
Razer Chroma control	Connect → Hardware → Razer Chroma → Release, and Clear next to Paired device
Everything	Uninstall ilyStream. System → Settings → Files & Data shows where ilyStream keeps its files, so you can remove anything left behind.

Revoke access at the service

Disconnecting in ilyStream stops new data from arriving. You can also remove ilyStream’s access from the service’s own settings:

Twitch: Settings → Connections
YouTube / Google: Google Account → third-party connections, or the Google security settings page
Spotify: Account → Manage apps
Discord: User Settings → Authorized Apps
TikTok: in the TikTok app, Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions
Kick, X and Restream: in each service’s account settings, under the apps and services connected to your account

Ask us about data we hold

ilyStream doesn’t receive the chat, audience statistics or settings in your app. What we may hold is limited to things like emails you’ve sent us.

To ask for a copy of that information, or to have it corrected or deleted, email privacy@ilystream.app with:

what you’d like us to do — access, correct or delete;
the email address you contacted us from, if different.

We’ll confirm the request comes from you by replying to that address, and respond within the time the law requires — and in any case within 30 days.

Viewers of a stream that uses ilyStream

If you chatted in a stream run with ilyStream, your messages and statistics are kept on that streamer’s PC, not by us. Ask the streamer to remove them — they can clear Audience Stats at any time — and use the platform’s own privacy tools for data the platform holds.
