These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of the ilyStream desktop app (“the app”), ilystream.app, its documentation, and any online services ilyStream provides (together, “the Services”). In these Terms, “ilyStream”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the developer and publisher of ilyStream.
The app is also licensed to you under the Software License Agreement, which applies alongside these Terms. If the two conflict about the app, the Software License Agreement controls.
1. Agreeing to these Terms
By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Services.
2. Who can use the Services
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country if that is older. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian. You must also meet the age requirements of any platform you connect to ilyStream.
3. Using the Services
You may use the app to create, run and record your streams, and browse and read the website and documentation. Don’t:
- interfere with or disrupt the Services, or try to gain unauthorized access to them;
- probe, scan or test their security except as described in our security policy;
- use the Services in a way that breaks the law or these Terms.
4. Connected platforms and third-party services
ilyStream connects to services run by other companies — for example TikTok, Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Discord, Spotify, ElevenLabs and AI model providers. When you connect one:
- you’re responsible for following that service’s own terms, community guidelines and policies;
- that service’s terms and privacy policy govern how it handles your data;
- the service may change, limit or end the features ilyStream relies on, and we aren’t responsible for its availability.
If you connect YouTube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. If you connect TikTok, the TikTok Terms of Service and TikTok Privacy Policy apply to your use of TikTok.
Third-Party Services links to each service’s policies. ilyStream is not affiliated with or endorsed by these services.
5. Acceptable use
Your use of ilyStream must follow the Acceptable Use Policy.
6. Your content
Your streams, recordings, overlays and other content are yours. We don’t claim ownership of anything you create with ilyStream.
7. Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve ilyStream without any obligation to you.
8. Our intellectual property
The ilyStream name, logo, website and documentation belong to ilyStream. These Terms don’t give you any right to use them except as needed to use the Services. Other product names and logos belong to their respective owners.
9. Changes to the Services
We may change, add or remove features of the Services, or stop providing them, at any time.
10. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied — including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement — to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ilyStream won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using the Services at any time, for example by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the Services after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
